A vecrucia magic type.
An aeryn extension type of magic that comes from one of the five vecrucia that are within an aelinuan's body. Each aelinuan has three embodia extension types which are facilitated by the embodia vecrucia, so when their reserve of embodia gets low the user is no longer able to make use of it. The three embodia types are:
An aelinuan does not have usable embodia when they are first born, however at some point during their first eighty years of maturation, their embodia types will develop to the point that they may be used and at that stage they will be able to be taught how to interact with all three of the embodia types.
Embodia types can be graded as advanced, intermediate or basic. This grade indicates an aelinuan's capability with each type and opens up particular skills specific to that grade. Aelinuans begin as basic for all types and depending on their vecrucia level they may be able to choose to progress certain types to higher grades. If an aelinuan is able to progress with a type and starts seriously advancing into the next grade, it will lock in and count towards their natural limitations. For example, if they are able to have only one type at an intermediate grade then whichever type they pass the threshold to intermediate with will become the only one they are able to do so with.
There are three types into which all embodia skills can be categorised. All aelinuans can use all three types, the difference is in how competent they are or how much aeryn their embodia vecrucia can contain. For example, those with level 5 embodia have a vecrucia that can contain the most embodia, which means they can use all three types competently. THose with level 1, on the other hand, have the smallest capacity for embodia and therefore struggle the most with embodia usage.
