The threshold differs based on the number of years a velure is on velurea each time, for example a ten year velure will have a later threshold than a five year. A naturally occurring axis will happen within a few hundred years of that threshold, however there are also some instances where a significant event in the velure's life will trigger it early.

Vitalita is a physical extension type of magic that comes from one of the five vecrucia that are within an aelinuan's body. All aelinuans have a base foundational level of vitalita, which is grouped into six types, and these are set at particular starting levels at rebirth. Depending on an individual aelinuan's vitalita level, they may be able to gain additional capabilities.
